Hi!
we are planning to travel to CR from Canada in Feb 2017 for one week. Our plan is to fly in/out from Liberia and check out the following:
2 nights in Arenal- Explore arenal volcano, hanging bridges, la fortuna water fall
2 night in Monteverde- explore the cloud forest, butterfly reserve
3 nights in tamarindo- beach and chill
We are panning not to rent a car and would be relying on tour packages. Do you think if the above is too much for one week trip? Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi nasiramaz,
It depends on the pace you want for your trip. People do this itinerary often but it can feel like you are in the car a lot. It could also feel rushed, depending on your flight arrival and departure times. If it were us, I would say to skip Monteverde and stay 2 more nights in La Fortuna. You could take a day trip (or overnight) to see the Rio Celeste Waterfall or do more exploring/activities in the La Fortuna area.
