When I started researching Costa Rica for our family vacation over a year ago my google searches often took me to the travel blog “Two Weeks in Costa Rica”. The more information I gleaned from the blog the more I started using it almost exclusively to plan the details of our tip. Their suggestions and recommendations are spot on and their knowledge of the country is comprehensive. The information has been invaluable and our trip has been very memorable in large part due to the assistance of that travel blog.
I decided to use their travel service when we arrived in Manuel Antonio, not knowing which operators were honest and reputable and which activities were worthwhile (I actually wish I started earlier, I might have avoided a few mistakes). Jenn arranged and organized all of the excursions we were interested in with providers that they trust. We have been extremely happy with everything and the schedule she sent to me is very clear and concise. It made life so easy!
I must admit I’ve pestered Jenn repeatedly over the past week with questions about tipping and for recommendations on restaurants etc. She responds immediately and is always gracious and accommodating ! She takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions treating them as a priority. I almost feel like I’m talking to a good friend.
I just wish there was a “Two Weeks in Every Country” (smiley face)
Make life easy on yourself and use Jenn’s travel services. Highly, highly recommend!
While planning our 10-day family vacation to Costa Rica in May, I learned so much from just reading Two Weeks in Costa Rica's informative travel blogs. Once I had some big picture knowledge, I connected with Jenn and she arranged all kinds of wonderful activities for us from ATV riding, zip-lining, white water rafting, and guided nature walks which made my job as the family trip planner so much easier. In addition, using their recommended vendors for these activities gave me the comfort of knowing that we were going with outstanding, familiar, vetted, and reliable guides. It was the equivalent of hitting the easy button without sacrificing anything as it relates to quality and cost. Jenn was super responsive not only with the planning process but also while on our trip as she was a great resource via email for on-the-fly restaurant recommendations and general travel related questions. I'm so glad that I found Two Weeks in Costa Rica and I would highly recommend that my friends and family work with them to arrange all their tour, rental car, and travel related needs while traveling in Costa Rica. Also, I loved how they provided a nicely laid out written summary of all our tours, where to meet the guides and when, their local contact information and what to bring (sunscreen, hats, water bottles, change of clothes...etc.). Two thumbs up for Jenn and Two Weeks in Costa Rica!
We returned a few days ago from our 12 day dreamy trip in Costa Rica. We were a group of four female travelers, two of whom seniors. Matt and Jen were extremely helpful arranging all of different shuttles. The communication was always prompt, clear, and so friendly! The shuttle companies and all of our drivers were very accommodating, professional and so friendly! Two Weeks in Costa Rica was by far the most resourceful and trustworthy blog I used in this trip. I highly recommend it and have only positive things to say!
We just returned from a 3 week amazing trip in Costa Rica. We discovered Two Weeks in Costa Rica blog while browsing on things to do, and thankful for all the information. Matt was very prompt in responding to our requests and arranged shuttle services for us from Liberia to Samara, Samara to Bijagua and Bijagua to Monteverde. Our pick up was on time, the drivers were very courteous and the vehicles were in good condition and clean. We highly recommend the services of Two Weeks in Costa Rica as we had a great experience with them.
Planning a 13 day trip for a family of five isn't easy. I had a lot of worries about how we would get to our first hotel from the airport and which car rental company to use. Matt helped me with both of those things and I was so grateful! He put my mind at ease that everything was confirmed, and sure enough...everything went really smoothly! He also helped us set up a ziplining tour. We really appreciated your help and expertise and would highly recommend you!! Thanks again!
Jenn is so incredibly knowledgeable about Costa Rica and was very helpful during our 1 hour trip planning call. She gave the perspective that I couldn’t have gotten from reading online (unless it’s her blog)! I feel much more confident in our choices now!
Matt’s help was indispensable in planning a vacation for our three-generation family of 10. His expertise turned my tentative ideas into a detailed itinerary that perfectly fit the various ages (3 - 73) and interests of our group. We really benefitted from an initial video call, followed by an email correspondence to finalize our plans. We used the Adobe discount and received very good service from them as well. Thanks to Matt, I was able to relax and enjoy every aspect of our dream “two weeks in Costa Rica” vacation!
Jenn thanks so much for helping me plan the two best days of our holiday in Manuel Antonio. Your recommendations were spot on and super helpful and the tour operators you used were sensational. We absolutely adored our 10-in-1 adventure day as well as the jungle night walk. (Rubber boots were key!)
I also really appreciated your speedy replies to my many emails and many questions. I'll be sure to send anyone I know travelling to CR your way!
Thanks again 🙂
I loved the hour chat with Jenn to plan our trip. She is like an encyclopedia of helpful knowledge about Costa Rica! She made specific hotel recommendations within our budget down even to the detail of what room to request! All recommendations were within our budget. An invaluable service! Thank you Jenn!
Jenn helped us book 4 nights at La Paloma on the Osa Peninsula as an early start on celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, and our stay was everything we hoped for. We don't usually spring for luxury accommodations when traveling, so this was a splurge for us. La Paloma is a beautiful, well-situated hotel that lived up to its billing. We had a lovely room with windows on three sides and a wrap-around verandah where we spent plenty of hammock time and indulged in massages with the rain pouring down. The food was great, and the staff is extremely attentive. On our first evening, we went on the night tour with Tracyie the bug lady and her partner Gian, who specializes in other fauna, and it was fantastic. We did the day trip to Corcovado on with Randall, another top-notch guide, and I had a two-tank dive with divemaster JP at Cano Island.
Jenn's connection with La Paloma was instrumental in helping us plan this extraordinary experience, and our trip went off without a hitch thanks to her clear and detailed communication.
