Why aren't you on TripAdvisor or Google Reviews?
As an online travel agency, we are not able to open accounts through TripAdvisor or Google. Our business model is to connect travelers with the best licensed operators throughout Costa Rica rather than operating the tours and shuttles ourselves. Our reviews reflect the travel services we arrange for customers and our trip-planning services in general.
Are you a licensed and insured travel agency?
Yes, Two Weeks in Costa Rica, Inc. is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel (Ref. No. ST41024), and we are fully insured for errors and omissions. We’ve been helping travelers since 2013. Visit our Travel Agency page for more information.
How do I know these reviews are real?
We use an independent third-party verification system (CusRev) to authenticate recent reviews. These are from real customers who have booked tours, shuttles, or used our travel planning services. We’ve also included genuine testimonials from our previous review system.
When do I pay and is it secure?
You won’t pay anything until your reservation is confirmed. All payments through our booking system are processed securely through Stripe, and we handle all credit card processing fees. There are no additional booking fees.
What if I need help during my trip?
We’re here to help! Your confirmation will include both our contact information and the tour operator’s details. You can email, call, or WhatsApp us if any issues arise (contact information is included in your order confirmation).

Two Weeks in Costa Rica set us up with Esteban Mendez as our private tour guide of the hanging bridges and jungle walk. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and speaks great English! He can identify birds by their calls and sounds, he is able to call certain species and ensures you are able to get a good look at them through his spotting scope. We never felt rushed and there were no stupid questions, he was always happy to address and answer them. What an awesome overall experience we had.
The sloth sanctuary was a nice surprise, it is very spacious, well maintained and controlled to ensure the safety and wellness of the sloths while still allowing us access to them. The guide provided by the sanctuary was excellent.
The best travel advice for Costa Rica, we used their site exclusively for ideas, reviews and tips. They have done the tours with their family so they know what they are talking about!!

We had an absolutely incredible time on our 4-hour catamaran sail tour in Costa Rica! From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made us feel welcome and taken care of. The boat was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
The scenery was breathtaking—crystal-clear water, and beautiful coastline. One of the highlights was stopping to swim and snorkel in a secluded spot. The water was warm and perfect, and the experience felt like something out of a postcard.
The crew truly made the trip special. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Drinks and delicious lunch were provided, and the atmosphere was fun but still relaxing.
If you’re visiting Costa Rica, I highly recommend this experience. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and easily one of the highlights of our trip!

The pickup was prompt, the van was clean, the driver was professional, there was a bottle of water. We took the van from Liberia to La Fortuna and the drive is extremely windy. It is clear he knew the route but he was driving very fast and likely because that’s how the locals drive. However, I think better care needs to be given to passengers who are new to this road as many other reviews state people become dizzy and nauseous from the severity of the turns. I can tolerate a lot and felt like he should have been driving much slower.

We did this as our first excursion on our trip and it was amazing and our 12 and 8 year old boys loved it as well. We saw 3 crocodiles which was unexpected. The entire experience was amazing, the guide was extremely personable, polite, and knowledgeable. Not a fast ride at all and was an enjoyable cruise downstream. The setup afterwards was great too with tortillas, tea, coffee, and more. Finally followed by a shorter chocolate session which was great too. Highly recommend. Not entirely necessary to pay for a private guide on this one IMO as the rafts are smaller and you run into others along the way anyway.
