We booked a vacation in Costa Rica during Christmas but now my husband is worried to go there due to the situation.
What do you recommend? Is it advisable to go there in these conditions during Christmas?

Christmas is definitely a very busy time here in Costa Rica but it can also be a lot of fun too since the atmosphere is very festive. Almost everywhere will be busy because a lot of tourists visit in December but the beaches are especially crowded because a lot of the locals take time off from work and go to the coast. Alternatively you could visit a week or two before Christmas when things are still pretty slow.
