I plan on visiting Costa Rica and want to go to two areas, The Fortuna area and Corcovado National Park. I would like your guide please send to my email address and tell me about the OSA Peninsula. I also need advice on whether to drive to the Peninsula. And is it dangerous to drive around and what you think of hiking in that area and what would be a less tourist things to do in Fortuna area. What hot spring is less crowded. Thanks so much

Hi Joan,
Driving to the Osa Peninsula really depends. If you plan to visit Drake Bay, you are better off taking a boat there and leaving the car on the mainland. Our post about Drake Bay has all the information you need to learn how that works. If you are accessing the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park from the other side (Puerto Jimenez), yes you can easily drive there and the roads are all paved up until you get to Puerto Jimenez (after that, they are rough getting to Corcovado, but the tours offer transport).
For your specific questions about the tours around the Osa and in La Fortuna, our Tour Booking service might be just what you need. We charge a small fee and can give you very personalized recommendations and make all the bookings for you with the best companies. Let us know if we can help.
