Group Sloth and Bird Tour in Arenal/La Fortuna
If you want to see sloths during your time in Costa Rica, this is the perfect tour. Not only that, but lots of other animals and birds can be seen along the trail.
With a bilingual naturalist guide, you’ll explore a small biological reserve near downtown La Fortuna. Along the flat, easy-to-navigate path, your guide will help you spot sloths as well as other birds and animals like toucans, butterflies, and lizards. You’ll also see the organic garden on the property and learn about some of Costa Rica’s native fruits and vegetables.
After the hike, you’ll head to the tour company’s farm for a delicious homemade snack (empanada with cheese) and fresh juice.
The hike is about 1.25 miles (2 km). This tour is perfect for families traveling with young children or anyone looking for a short hike to see wildlife.

Cost of Group Tour (15 people maximum): $69 per person adults. $47 per person children ages 4-11. Rates plus 13% tax.

So many gray photos. Even if you are not taking photos, the variety of birds to watch was amazing. I could sit there all day and wished I did! Highly recommend!
