Group Night Tour at Rainmaker Park
Night tours are fun because you can see a lot of wildlife that you wouldn’t see during the day.
This tour takes you to Rainmaker, a lesser known reserve about 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio. The trails at Rainmaker are easy to access and the thick, pristine rainforest provides the perfect habitat for amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, insects, and much more.
The night walk takes about 2 hours and is led by a bilingual, certified naturalist guide. During the walk, you may see bats, lizards, spiders, owls, snakes, and lots of interesting insects. The trail goes past a large pond where it’s common to see frogs as well as rivers and waterfalls.
The night tour ends with a delicious traditional-style dinner at the onsite restaurant.
