Hi guys
I came across your website looking for an exotic destination with young kids. I just loved your tips and your adventurous spirit!
We would like to travel for 2 weeks during Thanksgiving. We’re thinking to stay 1 week near the beach, 1 week to discover the nature. What would you recommend? our kids are 5,4 and 2 years old

Hi lia,
Glad that you have found our website helpful so far! With kids that age, you’ll probably want to keep the driving time to a minimum and you are smart to just choose two destinations for that reason! Where you go really depends on the activities your family will want to do, but two popular destinations that are kid friendly and commonly paired together are La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. This would be easiest if you are flying into San Jose and will show you an area with a volcano and a beach destination with lots of wildlife around. If you are flying into Liberia, you could pair La Fortuna with a beach town like Samara or Nosara and that would give a similar experience. All of these places have a lot of fun things to do with kids.
