We’re travelling from Panama (Panama city & Bocas del toro) to Costa Rica in October 2015. Our plan is roughly to go to Puerto Viejo, Arenal and/or Monteverde and then maybe to somewhere in Pacific coast and at the end of the trip we’ll be spending a week surfing in Santa Teresa beach and flying back from San Jose. I’m a bit worried about the weather, especially in Puerto Viejo since I’ve read that El Nino caused flooding in Caribbean coast this June/July. And how about weather in Arenal or Santa Teresa beach that time of the year? We’re quite flexible with our plans and we haven’t booked any hotels yet. Where would you recommend to go? We have about three weeks in Costa Rica
