Hi Matt and Jenn
I’ve just finished reading your two books and thanks for all the useful information you provided. I know it is possible to drive from Puerto Viejo to La Fortuna in one day, but I think we’d prefer to break up the journey and stop off overnight somewhere. Is there anywhere that you could recommend for an overnight stay halfway or thereabout? It doesn’t have to be anything amazing; just something where we can have a nice wander about and a meal in the evening before setting off again the next day. We’ve read about Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, which might be a good option. Any thoughts about areas and hotel options?
