Do you recommend any spelunking/cave tours? I am planning to stay in La Fortuna and see the Venado Caves seem close by. Also Barra Honda National Park caves and Damas Caves near Manuel Antonio. Any suggestions? thank you!

Hi dianab,
The Venado and Barra Honda Caves are the most visited to our knowledge. We have never heard of the Damas ones, but would love to know more. We’ve also had someone tell us about some down by the town of Piedras Blancas (but inland more) but don’t have many details other than that they are called Caverna Olla. If you search YouTube you can find a few videos. Hope you have a great time!
