We are planning a 3 day trip from Coco Beach via rental car. Please comment on the following itinerary:
Day 1 – leave early and drive to Catarata Falls – view falls. Drive and tour around Arenal Lake. Stay at La Fortuna.
Day 2 – tour Arenal Volcano. Drive to Rio Celeste. Overnight near waterfall.
Day 3 – tour to Rio Celeste waterfall. Drive to Rincon De La Vieja National Park – stay locally
Day 4 – tour park. Return to Coco Beach.

Hi osarauer,
That itinerary would work. It will be a bit of driving but you’ll see fun things. I think you might be talking about the Llanos de Cortez Waterfall, which is on the way to La Fortuna from Coco. One thought would be to switch Rincon de La Vieja for the Miravalles Volcano area. The both have similar features but Miravalles will be closer for you from Bijagua/Rio Celeste.
