We are three adults and two toddlers and we are thinking about getting a driver instead of driving our own car. Would we need to find a driver that has car seats or perhaps one with a van that does not require car seat?

Hi naturespathgz,
Awesome that you are coming down with the toddlers! Costa Rican law requires kids to be in a car seat or booster until the age of 12. You can read the exact requirements (ages, weights, etc) in our Travelling with a Baby in Costa Rica post. Any reputable shuttle company should have car seats or boosters available and usually they are free. If you need help lining up a shuttle that has them, let us know and we can help. Hope you have a great trip!
