We’re planning to move to Costa Rica. Our next trip in May is to really start looking for a rental property somewhere near Uvita. Even a little North of there. Any suggestions to find properties for rent. Is it better to go through a realtor? Craig’s list? Or?

Hi Scott,
There are a lot of online resources but you definitely get better deals once you are down here and start talking to people locally. A good one to get you a starter place might be the Facebook Group called, CR Southern Zone Long Term Rentals. There is also the Costa Ballena Bulletin Board Facebook Group which is a general community forum in that area. Sometimes people post places for rent or ask about rentals on there.
