Should we visit Monteverde from Brasilito or from Neuvo Arenal?

Hi Donna, 
If you are just visiting for the day, it would make more sense to go from Nuevo Arenal. This would be about a 2 or 2.5 hour drive whereas Brasilito would be around 3.5 hours each way. If you have more time, we suggest a couple of nights in Monteverde. Either way, be sure to check out our Driving to Monteverde post for some info about the roads.
