Is it safe to leave your luggage in the room? I sleep with a CPAP machine and oxygen concentrator. Would it be safe to leave those in the locked hotel room?
Thanks in advance for any information that might be able to provide.

Hi jxa123,
You shouldn’t run into any problems as long as, like you said, you lock up the room (windows/doors) while you are gone. Generally thieves here are opportunistic, taking an unattended bag at the beach or reaching through a screen-less window to take a camera or phone when nobody is around. If you are really worried about it, you could buy a wire lock like this one, but you should be fine.
