Hi Linda,
An area that comes to mind where you can check all those things off your list would be the Costa Ballena area of the southern Pacific Coast. There are a lot of great waterfalls and amazing wildlife. You could also make a stop in or take a day trip to Manuel Antonio which is known for easy monkey sightings. Those two destinations are just 45 minutes to an hour apart.
