Is travel to Corcovado necessary if staying at Lapa Rios

We are staying at Lapa Rios for 5 days in July. We are traveling with children ages 11 and 13. Lapa Rios provides many tours in the rainforest surrounding the lodge. We are trying to decide if it’s worth the effort and expense to also travel to Corcovado Park one of the days we are on Osa and if it will be that much different than the rainforest surrounding Lapa Rios. I appreciate your insight.

Hi Casi,
Honestly, you will get to see a lot of wildlife right from the lodge so it probably isn’t necessary to spend the extra money to visit the actual park. Lapa Rios is very remote so you will be immersed in the rainforest already. Have a great time!
