We are a family of 4 with two small kids under 7. My husband had a moto accident last year which limits his car travel time down to under 2 hours and he can’t hike far. We are visiting Riu guanacaste Costa Rica at the end of next month and want to rent a car and do an excursion ourselves to avoid a timeframe/schedule due to the limitation. No ziplining/slides wanted but would love to walk suspension bridges, see a waterfall and volcano/hotsprings. Not sure if rincon de vieja or miravalles volcano is best and which one further. And is llanos de Cortez waterfall on way to miravalles? Not trying to stray due to driving constraint. Any help appreciated. Don’t wanna pay for a tour in case we have to turn Back or stop the trip short. Thank you!
