In your La Fortuna post, you mention going “to the river across from the Tabacon to soak in the beautiful natural surroundings for free.” In looking on the map, I can’t figure out where you’re talking about. Could you give more detailed directions? Across the main road from Tabacon looks like just dense forest on the map. Are there hot springs tucked in there? Or is it somewhere else?

Here is a map with the location of the free springs in La Fortuna: https://goo.gl/maps/KNat4YQyfhJ2. The last time we drove by, they weren’t allowing parking at the Tabacon’s spots anymore (they were blocked off with flower pots). But people have been parking along the side of the road. Have fun!
