We intend to drive from San Jose both to Monteverde and to Arenal before heading to the Nicoya Peninsula.
Is it better to do one, eg., Arenal, before the other, eg., Monteverde, or is pretty much the same trip in either order?
Any advice about why this is not a good idea?

Hi Roger,
Driving from San Jose to La Fortuna, then Monteverde, and finally the Nicoya Peninsula would probably make the most sense. The reverse would also be fine but most people like to end their trip with some beach time.
