Good Morning!  First of all, thanks so much for all this wonderful info; your site is a treasure chest for those of us anxious to make the most out of our time in  CR.  SO, here \’s my question.  We are planning to spend some of our time in the Central Pacific–in mid-March.  Would you recommend that we find lodging in Dominical, Uvita or Ojachal.  Are they all relatively close to each other?  Can you base in one and travel easily to the others?  We will have a car and we hope to kayak, snorkel and hike.  Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

Hi Jackie,
You should check out our Costa Ballena post, which describes these towns and how they are set up. A lot of the nicer lodging is located in the hills with ocean views and is a bit of a drive to everything. There are some options closer to the beach but in general they are more rustic. We have some suggestions for hotels in our post. Yes, you can easily drive from one to the other. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive on the highway between towns. More if your lodging is located off the main road.
