Hi, thank you for answering my question. I am a really concerned about the cost of rental vehicles. I am hearing that quotes are made and then when you go pickup it goes up a couple of hundred dollars?

Unfortunately that is true with a lot of the rental companies. The reason they are so inexpensive online is because they do not include the mandatory government insurance. If you read the fine print on some of those sites, it makes it seem like you are covered for insurance but the wording can be confusing or say vague things like “may not apply in some countries”. So when you arrive, the people at the desk might tell you that you must pay extra. This is one of the main reasons why we recommend Adobe Rent a Car and offer a Rental Car Discount with them. They include all of the insurance, fees, and other charges in their online quote. This way, when you show up, you pay the same price you were given. No surprises.
