I am spending 3 days in CR. 3 days in Manuel Antonio and 3 days in Arenal. We would like to white water raft and do canyoning. Is canyoning the same in both places or is one better than the other. Thanks!

Both La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio have great canyoning and white water rafting experiences. Since you are only in each place for a short time, you might want to consider a combo tour option that does both in one day. That would free you up to do other activities on the other days. We know of a great combo tour in La Fortuna that does Canyoning first, then takes you to the river to do Class II-III white water rafting after.
