I’m planning a visit to CR and have found a tour company offering an itinerary I like. It covers the following areas:
- San Jose to Sarapiqui (inc. Poas Volcano National Park and Braulio Carrillo National Park)
- Arenal / La Fortuna
- Playa Tamarindo
- Monteverde
- Quepos
- Manuel Antonio National Park
- Tortuguero
This tour takes 15 days, and runs from the start of June to early October. Is there any particular month which is likely to offer the best weather in all areas visited? I’m no sun-worshipper, so don’t mind a few hours rain. However, I really want to be out and about seeing the country, so the last thing I’d want is to be stuck in a hotel because there was torrential rain all day.
Any thoughts on which month I should visit? Thanks in advance!
