Which area or national park offers the best day hiking trails (6-12 miles/day, 9-18 Km/day) considering factors such as crowds, observing animals, and biodiversity. Is it worth going to Monteverde cloud forest with all the crowds? Or are there other similar areas with less hype but equally as awesome? Thanks for any feedback you may be able to provide!
