Hello,
My boyfriend and I will be visiting CR for the first time in March for three days. We are flying into Liberia and would like to spend a day in the La Fortuna area but realize it is about a three hour drive. Are there any other volcanoes you suggest visiting instead? Also, where would be a great and relatively quiet beach town to stay for a night near Liberia. Lastly, how easy is it to get around? I heard that signage is hard but it seems that renting a car would allow us to go where we would like. For newcomers is that a good idea or should we hire someone? Thank you.
