Should we travel to Drake Bay and Manuel Antonio in August 2016 or will it be too rainy and too many mosquitos?

Hi Bowling,
It is hard to predict the weather but you can check out our post about it for some statistics. August in those areas is the month that the rain generally starts to pick up a bit more. If you can plan your trip for the beginning of August or mid-month, you will probably have less rain than if it is later in the month. Mosquitoes are also hard to predict but have been a bit worse this year. You can usually avoid bites pretty easily though, check out our post about Mosquitoes in Costa Rica for some tips.
