Hi Tracie, I’ve never seen Tide Free at the regular grocery store but at least at the stores near us, there is another locally made product that is scent and dye free (can’t remember the name, sorry). What’s available probably varies across the country though. What you’ll probably have to do is just stock up on it in San Jose at PriceSmart or somewhere (PriceSmart carries a lot of products commonly used in N. America). A lot of people here have skin problems so I’m sure it’s available; just a matter of finding it. You could always post a question in the expats groups on Facebook too to figure out exactly where to go- just search Expatriates in Costa Rica in Facebook- but I bet PriceSmart is your best bet.
