Hi just booked for playa del coco and we’re so excited we are travelling from the uk 7-24th October we are staying at coco Marino in playa del coco . Do you have any details or advice on the accommodation please.? We are travelling with our 5 year old who is extremely interested in all wildlife. We are staying in the same accommodation for the duration but we are going to hire a car to see more, do u have any tips or suggestions on where to visit within travel distance and the best activities also in the area we are staying, any tips on what to pack, were to eat locally please ,

Hi Nick,
Not sure if you mean Marina Loft but that hotel/set of condos is a little outside the main part of town on your way into Playa Del Coco. For activities, you should check out our Map Page to see what is nearby. For longer day trips to see wildlife and do some activities, you might also like the Rincon de la Vieja area and Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Another option is the Miravalles area, which is a little less touristy. But both should be pretty quiet in October. You could also stop at the Llanos de Cortez Waterfall if going to Miravalles, which is a fun spot and has a little wading area perfect for a 5 year old.
