Hanging Bridges Tour at Sky Adventures Arenal
Sky Adventures is a wonderful option for a hanging bridges hike in the Arenal area.
On the hike, you will cross 5 suspension bridges that take you through lush primary rainforest and to scenic viewpoints of Arenal Volcano and the lake. The hike is about 4 km/2.5 miles and easy to moderate in difficulty. We highly recommend adding a guide for this tour ($5 pp) so that you can see more wildlife. On our visits, we have seen sloths, eyelash pit viper snakes, coatis (a raccoon-like animal), monkeys, toucans, and other birds.
Note that for the guided tour option, you will visit only two of the hanging bridges and the scenic viewpoint. The guide will stop along the way to teach you about the ecosystem and point out wildlife.
This tour can also be booked in combination with zip lining or a tram ride.
Cost of Hanging Bridges Tour (2025-2026): $41 per person adults; $34 per person students up to age 25 (ID required); $28 per person children ages 5-12. Rates plus 13% tax. Children under 5 are free.
Add a Certified Nature Guide (max. group size: 10 people): $5 per person
Peak Season (Christmas/New Years: December 16, 2025-January 5, 2026; Easter: March 29-April 5, 2026): Add $10 per person
