Panache Sailing Catamaran Tour
This is an option for a low key catamaran tour. It sets sail from Playa Flamingo. The tour is both fun and relaxing, with beautiful views of the Guanacaste coastline.
The boat takes you off shore approximately five miles to a cove surrounded by small islands and their exquisite beaches. Here, you can snorkel, kayak, or paddle board in the calm bay where you’re likely to see fish and other marine life.
The crew prepares a delicious meal of sandwich wraps (fish or chicken), guacamole, beans, pico de gallo, chips and dips, fresh fruit, and cookies. Water, soft drinks, and an open bar with cocktails, beer, and wine are also included.
The vibe is family friendly and the crew is super fun. There’s also the chance of seeing dolphins, turtles, and even whales, depending on the season! When we did the tour in January, we were lucky enough to spot two humpback whales.
Panache has several catamarans (40′-46′) that hold up to 30-40 passengers. They are fully equipped with a large awning for shade and bathrooms on board.
When they stop for swimming/snorkeling, the crew puts out a “lily pad,” which is a big float for lounging in the water.
