Tour Description
Hanging bridges are a unique way to experience the rainforest canopy. The bridges at Mistico Hanging Bridges near La Fortuna/Arenal are some of the best in Costa Rica.
This guided tour will take you on a 2 mile (3.2 km) concrete path with 16 hanging bridges. It’s fairly easy, more of a walk than a hike, but is a nice trek through the jungle. The bridges are very safe/sturdy and not very shaky.
Along the way, a knowledgeable naturalist guide will point out birds and animals that you might not spot on your own. Animals that may be seen include coatis (racoon-like animals), howler monkeys, white faced capuchin monkeys, peccaries (wild-boar-type animals), lots of birds, snakes, and armadillos.
Cost of Group Tour (40 people max): $44 per person adults; $34 per person children ages 11-18; $17 per person children ages 5-10. Rates plus 13% tax. Free for children under 5.
Offered: 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.

Mistico Hanging Bridges were awesome, and we had the best guide who helped show us tons of wildlife we otherwise wouldn’t have seen! It rained during our tour and it was still a wonderful experience. The hanging bridges were really cool and everything felt very safe. Highly recommend and thanks to Two Weeks in Costa Rica for your help!

This was a great tour that focused on Rainforest attributes and the beautiful splendor of flora and fauna components in their natural world setting. Our professional guide
Julio, was superb in knowledge and pace. He kept us moving along the bridges and paths, yet gave us time and direction to discover the forest treasures for ourselves. I especially liked the hike to see the awe-inspiring waterfall.
Park and guide policies for safety and security made the venture into the wild outdoors comforting and safety centered. This is a fantastic way to get up close to the
wonders of Nature.
