October is generally one of the rainiest months on the Pacific Coast, but because of El Nino, weather patterns could be slightly different this year. We’d say to be ready for mostly nice mornings with showers in the afternoon and evening most days. You will probably get some days where it rains almost the whole day and could have others where it doesn’t rain at all. We always recommend that people traveling during the rainy season keep their schedule flexible so that you visit national parks and do tours, etc. on nicer days if you can. It’ll be slow for tourism in town this time of year so you can definitely wait to book tours and activities. Hope that helps. Have a great trip!
