Answer for Hiking Apparel

For regular hiking, hiking boots are best for traction and to protect your feet from bugs, snakes, etc. And for waterfall hikes, either regular hiking boots or Keens are fine. If you think it’ll be muddy, Keens are a very good idea and they’ll be good for if you want to walk on the rocks near the water too. I wouldn’t recommend rubber boots because they’re more uncomfortable and heavy.
