I have been enjoying finding out more about Costa Rica from your excellent website, thank you. We are planning to hire a car for our 2 week trip in August. We will start in San Jose and travel to Tortuguero, La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. Our final port of call will be Drake Bay so we are thinking of driving to Uvita (where Adobe has a drop off point I think) and then travel to Sierpe by public transport to get the boat. Is this a sensible plan and if so do you know of bus/shuttle services from Uvita (or Manuel Antonio) to Sierpe in time to get boat to Drake. We plan to fly back to San Jose at the end of our trip. Sounds like a great trip! When you make your rental car reservation through our page, just choose the Uvita location as the drop off. Then write a note in the reservation that you will be dropping off the car in Sierpe. They will charge and extra fee (I think it is $20) and meet you right there, no need to take the bus and totally worth it. Hope this helps and you have an excellent time.
