Tenorio vs Tortuguero vs Cahuita

Hello. I’m trying to decide between these three places as the last location to fill my 10-day itinerary. I’m currently planning to go to La Fortuna, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio. I originally wanted to follow your recommended two-week itinerary, but it seems like I would have to sacrifice a significant amount of travel and logistics to get back and forth or spend ~$200 for plane tickets. However, I’m open to spending the $200 if it’s really worth it.
I would appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks

I think I missed mentioning that I was considering Drake Bake as a last item and wondering if it’s worth the $200 in airfare?

Hi zpbsfg,
It really depends on what you are looking for in that destination. Tortuguero is great for wildlife and is commonly paired with La Fortuna, so easy to incorporate. Tenorio has the Rio Celeste and a really local feel. And Cahuita is a really nice small town with the Caribbean vibe, but also really far away from the other destinations you are set on. I would say that Tortuguero and Tenorio are good if you are looking to fill 2 nights but if you have more time than that you should spend the extra and do Drake Bay over Cahuita because Cahuita is too far out of the way. Hope this helps!
