Any recommendations for where in CR to do a scuba training course? (names of companies in those locations would be a bonus!) Definitely on a budget (planning to stay in hostels) but also wanting to get certified to dive!

Hi MC,
There are lots of different places in Costa Rica that do the certification classes. One that comes to mind is Freedom Diving in Samara. Samara is a great town in Guanacaste and we have some suggestions for affordable lodging in our post (here). When we stopped by the Freedom Dive shop on our last visit, they showed us the pool where they do some of the courses. It was really nice!
