Thank you so much for all the time you put into your site, it has truly been a blessing in planning our trip!
We are in Costa Rica the first part of January for 13 days. our Route, Fly into Liberia, rental car driving to La Fortuna (4 nights) Monteverde (3 nights), Rincon de la Vieja (1 night). My thought then was to return rental car in Liberia then get an airport transfer to an all inclusive resort near Playa Coco, or Playa Hermosa however I am finding the resorts rather expensive or already booked and whats not booked has bad reviews.
Our goal for the last leg of the trip is to relax, a nice pool bar, have some affordable drinks & not be hounded to purchase trinkets. Is there another area close to Liberia maybe I should be looking into that we could easily get an airport transfer to?

Unfortunately the time you are looking at for the all inclusive/beach part of your stay is still peak season so prices will be higher and the more affordable options are likely already booked. Condovac in Playa Hermosa isn’t quite an all inclusive but is right near the beach and has nice amenities. You could also look at the Riu Guanacaste, which is very large and might have some openings. The perfect place for some peace and quite is probably too far but Hotel Punta Islita, a bit south of Samara, fits your description perfectly. Hope you find something and have a great trip!
