I subscribe to your blog and enjoy your posts. I especially enjoy the posts about specific areas where you give recommendations for lodging broken down by budget – mid – high end. I have searched for a blog post with such recommendations about the Arenal NP area. I have found your post about La Fortuna but it did not seem to cover many of the other options in the area. Can you direct me to a specific blog post for Arenal NP lodging or are you otherwise able to make suggestions? Thanks.

Glad to hear that you like our posts format. Our La Fortuna post covers a few options in the area but there are a lot more that we haven’t listed, including some on the west side of the volcano, near the National Park. We are actually heading back to La Fortuna/Arenal in a couple of weeks and will be touring/staying at a lot of hotels while we are there. Hopefully we will put together a hotel guide for the area shortly after we get back. In the meantime, if you need specific recommendations, you could check out our itinerary help service. Through that, we can help pinpoint lodging for you based on your personal preferences, number of people in your family/group, and budget. We are familiar with a lot of the hotels there already and would help with activities, transport, and more. If you’ve already narrowed down your search, of course we are happy to give our opinion here on the forum too.
