Thank you for this site! Although we’ve already made suv rental with vamos am going to check out adobe with your discount as well as we can cancel without penalty. But 1st my question.
We will be traveling from Liberia to Tenorio Volcano National park for a 2 night stay with stops at llanos del cortes waterfall and heliconia hanging bridges. From there we will travel to Samara and then up the coast to playa hermosa and a day trip to Rincon de la Vieja and who knows where else in between but not far from the coast we are beach ppl 🙂 We will be traveling nov 28 to dec 9.
Do you think we would need a 4×4 or a car? Thanks again.

If you plan on staying on the north side of Tenorio, like in Bijagua, you shouldn’t need a 4×4 to access the park or Heliconias. The other places you mentioned should be fine without one too, as long as you are planning on visiting the Las Pailas Sector of Rincon de la Viejea.
